Eww. Please no.
Those things make an awful, greasy, horrible, nasty, icky stink.
I've never heard of…What on earth are you putting in your sandwiches!?

HA! :P

Whaddaya take me for? I'd never make a sandwich with one of those horrible things! Eww >.<

No, I hate it when other people use them, The buttered bread and whatever cheese that's on it emits an odour unpleasant to mine nostrils.
Both of them!

I'm very sensitive to any smells…

SAME wants everyone to know that he's decided to marry a horse.
A male horse.
He asked me a couple minutes ago to tell you that the joke's on you 'cause the horse is a millionaire…

The hell's that about, did he marry a horse millionaire or die? If he did both and then left me the money for some reason, this is gonna be the most lucrative supernatural drama since Twilight.

So you don't find horrible smells interesting too? I kinda want to know how a pressed Limburger-and-tripewich would smell.

I think you know very well. There's certain small room in every house dedicated to the daily production of such smells. ;)

Dramatic announcement.

I am not dead.

She's a classy mare and a millionaire.

Also I locked the crap out of my own account so I don't feel tempted to log back on to drunk duck until I have all of my artwork and assignments finished, nothing to do with anyone on the site or the site itself. Of course then I remembered I had a second account and decided I only needed one. You can delete same if it'll free up space or whatever. I wont be needing it any more. Also the fact that It never had anything anyway.

Same would like me to tell you all that he is giving his good-bye to the internet

He'll be back, they always come back. Just wait until he finds his spouse (the horse) sexting 3 year old mares across the world and having 300,000 likes on Facebook including the furry fetish writer Greyflank (whose alter ego is a very well hung black stallion.) (fortunately I know he's not on this site)

Next you'll try to convince me that there are IPMS members on this site. Or maybe someone from AMPS? Or anyone who posts on Missing Links or Armorrama? No. Interests in plastic model-building and web comics don't mix often.

Even if I was introduced to anime at an IPMS meeting back in 1984 or so.

I should really complain/rant/“rave” more.

I have enough to do such about.

Bits n' Pieces:
Someone told me they were bi. I accept that but this guy got really “annoying” about it. He ran around saying “Yeah, well I'm bi” to everyone in the room. It was also weird that he trusted me to be okay about it since we're not good friends at all and most people are “idiots” about sexuality.
I've confirmed that religion is a piece of shit (meaning all of them). I've also confirmed that I'm a heretic and a hypocrite occasionally.
One of my friends is crushing on some girl and I've been bugging the hell out of him because of it. He is the second of my friends to actually almost get the girl. Shows how sad this is because the other's dating my sister.
I'm singing today for old people. I'm going to get paid in a turkey dinner.
I will hopefully be writing a song with my band tomorrow (assorted fruits).

What a delightful thing to do at 6:30 in the morning.

Now you can all stalk me peacefully once again.

I knew a guy like that. He was getting a circumcision and he told me and he was all like “Dont be tellin anyone about that man. I told you because i trust you not to tell anyone”

Next week everyone knew. He went and told everyone to get pity.

And good luck with the singing to old people. Hopefully the turkey dinner is worth it.

Ha! Would that I were, instead of just playing dress-ups… there've been some famous ones; 2nd Earl of Uxbridge, Blucher, Churchill, Lermontov, Lord Cardigan… not all nice people though :(
Cardigan was a dick.

BTW, Same wants you to know that frank is an imposter. Same is in Belgium eating waffles. Tomorrow he's going to Denmark to eat pastries, then onto Cornwall to east pasties.

My cat almost caught a frog tonight! I haven't seen one in my backyard for years. It was a great big green one, it stayed very docile and calm when I picked it up and took it to my fishpond. -surprising since it was screaming loud enough at my cat to scare him into running away.
I actually thought it was a big gecko at first with all the squealing it was doing… plus it's a LOT more likely to find geckos in my backyard than frogs, especially this time of year when it's so hot. ugh :(

Well, another week of 12hour shifts is done. Next week, night shift, after which supposedly it returns to normal 8hours 1st-2nd shift pattern. That'd be nice!

Friday was weird. We started working on one brand and it was going awfully slow. There were rumors it is going to be an 8-hour day.
Then, suddenly, the assembly area of our line got sent to the social room while we battled with their production for the next few hours. See, sets of this brand need to go through a rather long (2 hours) burning in/aging stage (where the set it turned on for that period of time to see if it'll still work/display everything correctly after a certain amount of operating time) so everything arrived over there two hours late. Not only that, pretty much HALF of the sets were pulled off the line for various defects. Total mess!

Rumors started to circulate we might be sent home as early as 10am.

Well, the line director wasn't one to give up so we got a different model from a different brand (let's call it Brand B ) to work on. Except htat we didn't as the magazine was missing certain parts necessary to do so. Thus, the freshly hanged work instruction manuals got taken down in an instant only to be replaced with manuals of another model from the same brand.

This time they managed to get most of the required materials but they STILL missed something. We ended up taking down the manuals, hanging them up again, and finally taking them down for good, meanwhile all the freshly brought in parts and tools were all packed onto one pallette and brought into the Returns area (where they dump leftover materials for coordinators to write that down and cart it off to the so-called “supermarket” where they put back stuff into storage).

And we stood there, hopeful of being sent home. But then a bunch of broken sets were fixed and put back on the production line, so we had to test and package these. By then it was already Noon, where we got to stand some more… aaand finally they have decided to make the same model as at the beginning of the day… WITH THE SAME TECHNICAL PROBLEMS!

Out of the first 70 sets assembled, 20 fell due to various faults like gaps between the panel and the front cover, bent metal parts… and that was BEFORE testing. Testing took down another bunch of these.
We're ALWAYS faster on this brand than the assembly (to the point where the sets arriving in the testing area were less than 2 hours in the burning/aging mode so we have to wait for them to finish before we can proceed, at that point we're as slow as the assembly) so it was really strange to see that the numbers were so off. At the end of the day assembly managed to make something about 600 sets whereas only 250 or so were packed. If they were all made well, about 400 should have made to the end (considering the two hour delay) so imagine, about 150 of 400 was faulty.

The reason for this whole mess? There was a truck waiting outside for sets. ANY tv sets! Anything to take to a different location. Why such a problem? The trucks standing on the outside cost them a small fortune, something that goes into hundreds of Euros for every day the driver has to sit around waiting for stuff. In a way it pays off more for them to assemble any faulty shit they can (and empty the magazines from old parts) and have them return to them a month or so later for corrections, than to have the truck waiting a week or so.

As far as I know the night shift that came after us was meant to finish the whole model. I wonder if they managed to do so.

Nice thing: I have the Saturday, Sunday and pretty much most of Monday off (since we start 10pm). NEAT!

Edit: things turning smileys without my desire piss me off!!!

We just got ridiculous new dog toys at work.

Pahaha. For whatever reason(I hate to think) they've been selling quite well and I have a hard time keeping a straight face every time a customer brings one up to the counter. I'm positive that these were a joke somewhere between being designed and coming to our store.

It's a great gag! Even more-so because those pointy ears, tail and the legs make it unsuitable for… something else.
Brilliant!

Ugh, woken up at 4am on a Sunday by my cat… Chattering away constantly in his little, high pitched cat voice.
“ahrrow,ahhhrrrowow,aarrow,arroowow…” and so on-
We've had two cats that use to make similar sounds when they'd inside a screened window. I always thought they were “flirting” with the birds to lure them over.
ozoneocean
Anyway, he wouldn't stop, he went all through the house. So I responded to try and make him give it up… So he came back to my bedroom and dropped a freshly killed rat on my bedroom floor.
Aaawww. He Loves you.

— (pre-dawn wildebeests)

This morning around five I was wakened by some alarm in the neighborhood. Ah!! I Was So Tired. Three high pitched tones, repeated and repeated. Finally I pulled on some jeans and threw on a jacket and started walking down the street. I got close to the source when I realized: Idiot! you have no flashlight, you don't even have a club just in case there is something to club, and you're in your jammies, for God's sake.

I turned around to go home when a cop car came up with its search lights on. I'm not even sure what he asked me (I Was So Tired!) but I pointed at my house and I pointed at the noise source, and that seemed to satisfy him. (I guess when you only walk like a zombie but don't look or smell like one the cops don't consider you a threat). Went home and got into bed. The noise stopped within another 20 mins or so. Wonder if I'll ever find out what that was.

Those porn ads 4chan has now are freaking me out. The airbrushing in them is some of the worst I've ever seen. Everytime i visit i'm reminded why i stopped going.

My cat is getting more grey hairs and white whisker *sigh* She's only got 10 years left, and that's if she's lucky. I wish they'd advance on cloning, i mean technology has improved so much in the past decade, maybe we'll have something where you clone the body and transplant the brain of the old body into it…or robo-cats.

since returning home Friday evening I have filled 36 pages with random doodles and sketches… it's Monday morning right now and I'm expecting to be at around 40-45 range by the evening when I have to leave for work.

The best thing? I can draw good hands again, came up with a nice character design (that's very “70's heroic fantasy scantily clad female warrior” styled, haha) which inspired me to do a bunch of similar designs for another project I had on hold for ages now.

So, hooray for creativity.

Plan for today: 1) go get some icecream, 2) watch a movie, 3) go pay internet bills, 4) take a bath, 5) have a few hours nap, 6) go to work (night shift). Insert some drawing time between these all :D

Too bad I didn't do any actual comics though. Oh well. Keeping actively drawing is good enough for now (otherwise I'd get all rusty)!

I wasn't supposed to work any long shifts. But I'm still there at 9am and figuring I'll stay because they don't always tell me when I'm staying. So I called dispatch to confirm my twelve hours and I'm told I was supposed to be relieved at 8am. Typical. SNAFU

I got two extra hours so I really don't care but I was running out of things to do and the dizziness was setting in. That's Autumn for you. I get dizzy spells and the car's “Check engine” light comes on. It's Errant moisture in the chilly temperate climate.

It seeps into an engine gets something wet so that light comes on and you have to go to the garage to get it read and to get it turned off because it doesn't go off by itself. And that same moisture gets into messed up sinuses and cause headaches and dizzy spells in people with FUBAR heads.

I couldn't work on the comic during the extra hours because the executive director was in and I didn't want her to look over the security guard's shoulder (That's me)and see him running Photo Shop and putting together pages of nekkid pictures with inane, profane captions. Call me self-conscious. But I'm a little sensitive after getting fired for some stupid misunderstandings.
