NUTS!! I can't remember how to make a DVD from my movie maker file. I haven't had to do it for a year or two, and now it's like starting all over. grrrr
Also, can anyone recommend a good digital recorder? I'd rather have something that can also play music files, but if means just getting a mike for the PC that captures voice well, that would be fine. I have a SanDisk sansa fuze and the voice recorder SUCKS.

I have less than 100 pages to go on the notes section of my pre-research.
As I'm reading this, I can see how it'll be impossible to draw it as I always do, on A4 sized paper. I'll have to go up in size to A3 to get it done, and it'll of course cause all sorts of problems (including stitching scans from several pieces, ugh)
Of course, first I have to go through all the necessary visual research, do tons of designs… and this thing turns into a regular fashion show, haha. Since the characters are an equivalent of royalty/noblety it makes sense to have them change clothes often, especially if they go from “official dinner” to “tinkering on weird doomsday projects in the basement” to “fighting monsters in the forest” to “official visit to someone else” to “leisure time clothing” to “getting ready for bed” modes.
But yeah, one of the major characters changes her clothes at least 13 times (including two flashback sequences).
I better make sure the characters are easy to tell apart regardless of what they're wearing!

Ahhh the new pokemon game was great. It was way too short though :( I seriously need to get wi-fi.

With DVD stuff, if you use later versions of Windows I think it has a DVD maker program or at least DVD exporter options?
I always get confused by that stuff too because Windows usability in programs like that still leave a LOT to be desired.

OH OZONE, YOU SO FAAAAANI.
Nah, I've one one HUGE one on my upper lip, right side (very noticeable), that keeps poking my bottom lip every time I close my mouth. After a while of being closed, the cold sore on my top lip sorta sticks to the bottom lip like Velcro. If I open my mouth for any reason at all, it tugs and stings like a son of a bitch.
I've also got one on my bottom lip, left side, moderately small but somehow positioned just right that it pokes the teeth on my bottom jaw. If I'm not careful, I'll accidentally bite it.
Mmmm, goodness knows I'd love a mouth full of herpes pus.

I feel your pain. Once upon a time I had six cold sores and a sore throat so bad it was totally coated. Couldn't eat, could barely drink. I had a great nurse. At the point of orgasm the stuffiest sinuses clear for one brief shining moment. My diet consisted of Listerine, Sucrets and Ambesol.
Ever since I get a cold sore about every other month or so. Listerine.

ozoneoceanI found my ancient notes that indicated using “DVDSanta”. DVD Santa creates the TS_video and TS_audio folders. It worked :)

i mean, there was no work to be done, i bashed it out this morning. he finished some up by 9:30…oh well, i got to leave.

ozoneoceanHerpes is a diverse little guy. I think one of the weirdest places I've heard of as susceptible to the virus is the eyeball. If I remember correctly, it's also one o' the more serious places- most of the usual spots lead to aesthetic problems and some general crumminess, but herpes of the eye can lead to complications like vision loss or blindness.GlargI didn't know you could get them there o_O

We have around 8 exchange students in my art class, from 3 or 4 different, non-English speakings countries. When they're speaking to the teacher or other students it's in English, but they often speak amongst themselves in their native languages.
Today we had a substitute teacher who told them “IN ENGLISH” and that it was “rude” to have conversations in languages other than English. When they didn't listen to her, she said, “IN ENGLISH, POR FAVOR!” and threatened to discipline them for not speaking in English. Amongst themselves.
I told her, “We're in Canada. They're free to speak whatever language they want,” but she kept yelling about how it was rude and against the rules. I was very, very embarassed. Nice way to treat people who are guests in our country.
Fortunately one of them(good for him) went and checked with the head of the EAL stuff and confirmed that they can have private conversations in their own languages.
