I've been having fantasies lately about taking my credit card and spending the fuck out of it. Like i'd get a makeover and go on a trip to vegas and pretend I'm someone bi-winning and exciting.

Of course it probably wouldn't go like that at all and i'd get lost and mugged. Then mom would find out what I spent. Yep

Ugh…. sometimes I'm tempted to buy the latest Pokemon game so I can play with/against my youngest nieces… because they keep asking me to (my nephews/nieces think I'm the “Cool” uncle due to the fact that I play video games). What was that now… Pokemon Black/White? Or maybe I should wait ‘til Grey comes out or…

Still remember when that picture taking game about Pokemon came out. My eldest niece would get mad when I referred to it as “Pokemon Snack! Gotta Eat ’em All!!!”. And at the time, I thought they really looked delicious enough to devour at some kitchen table. Especially the little yellow Pokemon… I could make some stew out of that one, and eating it would be a shocking/electrifying experience…

A guy in my engineering course has been treated by the police as missing and was last seen on Tuesday. Even though I've only personally exchanged a few pleasantries with him, I'm really worried about him now. D:

i watched the show doll house. The first season was pretty good. I sat thru the second season just to see how it ended. I think they introduced M night Shamalan, without crediting him. it was pretty bad as far as twists going, and making sense.
——-

i sat here for 2 hours trying to draw pages for NW. but i just don't have the motivation.

I've been on the diet 2 weeks now, without cheating.

I was thinking of buying Deadspace 1 and 2 as I've heard it's a great video game series. And now with my brand new XB360S I'm ready to do that. But then I see the video on this Dead Space wiki page…

Deadspace Wiki: Franco Delille

Ugh… never thought I'd be frightened by a video from a video game…

Maybe I should dye my hair blonde, wear a red tank top and sunglasses… then maybe I can play games like Dead Space…

waitaminute…

Okay… who in the heck put Folger's Crystals in my Yuban coffee again? I swear… those mind altering coffee crystals keep putting voices in my head to switch to Folgers and throw out all my Yuban coffee… O_O

#1 was mostly predictable. It gave obvious signs that something scary was about to happen, although there were a few spots that caught me unawares.

I recommend it tho.

1. Got Epic Mickey yesterday. I like E-rated games so I love it. Only thing is it should be E-10 at the least.

2. Got Inception yesterday. It was something that makes me not hate DiCaprio. His character didn't annoy me at all. Good movie but a bit confusing in the middle. Nice end though because you don't know if the top stops spinning or not. >:)

3. Band was meh at our gig. Mainly I was meh and then my guitarist was screwing up cause he had a lot on his mind, such as the girlfriend he loves having dumped him a week ago and then already with someone else. (She's a bitch by the way and he has to realize that she'll break his heart time and time again if she even goes back to him.)

4. I need to make my solo album demo already…I have about ten songs written and just need the equipment. Wish me luck.

well, came home from work but instead of going to sleep I'm playing Harvest Moon: Animal Parade. I just know my neighbor is going to watch me play and she's going to complain that I named my ducks after beer brands… Budwyser, Schlitz, Fosters, Colt45, etc… and I named the cow Beef Stew. Nothing wrong with naming nonexistant animals like that right?

And now the game lets you marry dieties??? Not worth it since they apparently refuse to live in your house (according to my neighbor anyway). Might be a good thing though considering their worshippers like to visit them a lot…

On the way home I spotted some tiny glass jars of Vegemite in the store. Two problems… they're out of date. And even though they're past due they're $6 each! What the heck do they make that stuff from? Diamond dust, gold flakes and silver ingots?!?

Granted them being a couple. :P

But yes. I'll send it as soon as I record it. Maybe I'll actually end up writing that DD song already.

So since February 15th I have spent 266$ on pokemon merchandise…and that's not including all the money i spent on shipping costs for trades. And then i still have about $30-ish worth of stuff I still need to pay for online.

I feel kind of nauseous… like a crackhead who realized her crack pipe was 300$ and she could have bought a ton of crack.

Edit: It's actually more like 320$ if i add up all the little 5-8$ purchases. Jesus fuck

Froid?

Speaking of French, I hope my bilingualism will get me a city job come summer. I would love a government job.
I suppose I'll just have to be happy with whatever I get, though. I hate job hunting. Especially when I like the one I have now. : (

I should probably keep up to par on my French if I'm going to be using it a lot. Any suggestions for good French movies/books?

Oh, and speaking of my job, I have a funny story. There's this big sketchy guy who comes into our store every few weeks in a big jacket and buys a couple cans of cheap cat food. A coworker of mine told me months ago she's convinced that he steals.

Today, he came in. Another one of my coworkers was on her break just around the corner and stuck her head out to see who was there. She sees the guy in the process of putting a can in his jacket. The guy sees her looking, puts the can back on the shelf and makes a beeline for the exit.

Meanwhile, I'm at the front and missed this whole episode. I see him hurrying out without buying anything and ask if he didn't find what he was looking for(like a good employee). “Uh yeah, you don't have what I need.” I try to ask him more but he is GONE.
What's great, too, is that he apparently works for a security company!

I kind of doubt we'll be seeing him back any time soon. :P

They don't pay security professionals very well. Since someone in the security industry knows the ins and outs of store security there's always the temptation to test the system.

Woke up all stiff and dizzy like I'd taken a pile of muscle relaxants. Massive head rush.
Had a really cool dream too, one of those ones where when you go back to sleep you're right back where you left off.
Sure I was cheating on the wife with a twenty-something coffeeshop waitress but it was fun. I know a twenty-something coffeeshop waitress who bears an uncanny resemblance to the girl in the dream but I don't go there very often and the events leading up to the first date could not happen outside of a dream.
Guilt aside, it was nice.
Maybe the dizzy spell was the jetlag from my commuting between alternate universes.

So I finally worked out how to present one of my shot comics. I'm really surprised how it's working out and want to rush through everything and get it out there. I was playing with the filters in my ancient edition of Photoshop and rediscovered something I always really liked.
And I've already gotten the inspiration for a follow-up. Can I finish this one first? Does the imagination always have to rush so far ahead of me?

Well, read more of the Dead Space wiki and I'm beginning to wonder what's more scary about the game… those Necromorphs that you end up having to kill, or the characters and organizations that make up the backstory… Who'd have thought that in the far future the leaders of various organizations and countries would be so incompentent and reckless to the point of becoming the cause of Humanity's extinction? Then again it's probably not to far fetched when you think about the organizations and governments of TODAY. I guess I'm just thinking a little too much…

Maybe someday someone will make a game out there where you have to deal with a disease that transforms people into Pokemon… or vampires that sparkle instead of burn in the sunlight… :)

There are all different reactions depending where on that somnolent circle you escape from sleep. :)

The shit hit the fan with the May Day committee. It does that every year. At yesterday's meeting, the most annoying part was when someone piped in saying that “whenever someone comes into my shop and asks about the May King and May Queen positions, they ask if they have to have sex, and I have to tell ‘em I don’t do anything with that group and don't know.”

It's a line the royalty has been haunted with since this lineage started 5 years ago and it makes me roll my eyes every time. Just wanna shake them and say “My God, woman! The answer is simple! It's a family friendly event at a public park! Family friendly. Public park. What parts of those two phrases includes ritual sex?!?”

My other favorite is “I don't want my kids just playing dress up. Wer're real pagans, not fakers.” Which always make me want to shake them and say “Yeah, there's no precedent for public recognition and celebration of a rite of passage, and our culture is at a point where we definitely don't need that kind of thing. I mean, publicly celebrating that would just shatter our credibility as a community. It's the worst possible thing we could do for our young adults- giving them something to be excited about, proud of, and to work towards. And just imagine how corruptive it is for the younger kids to have someone to look up to that isn't an elder. You're right. It's a disaster waiting to happen.”

In related news, I'm now 16 pages behind where I want to be in penciling.

That reminds me of the most awesome rockband ever in the history of rockbands ever in the history of this world. -not for their music mind you. Their music is ok, but not super amazing.

That band was Rockbitch.

Those gals took the sexy pagan thing very seriously… Got some tasty pics on their website, which I won't link to because of the naughty stuff.

Very tasty indeed. I only saw a fraction of the photos, but that was enough to know I should check back when I had more time.

The thing that gets to me is that in four months, I was able to gather a coalition of volunteers from the Democrat, Republican, Libertarian, and Socialist parties to work together on a project and get a law changed. When I finished, everyone that worked for the cause thought highly of me as articulate, intelligent, and diplomatic. And the city council members we were dealing with? They said the same things about me. All of my friends describe me as tactful and I'm the guy that both sides can talk to no matter what the situation is.

In four years, I can't get this community to agree on something as positive as giving grounds for youth to affirm and celebrate their identities- and for all the work and pain, I get labels of emotional immaturity and thoughtlessness. Waitaminute- crossing those deeply entrenched political barriers that are destroying the democratic process in my country and changing a law thats already on the books is easier than dealing with my spiritual community? Poop.

wow… just thought up a weird perverted game I could try making while I work on my programming skills and the survival horror “lightgun” type game I've got on paper.

Aliens drop from the sky and latch on to women. You can't grab them and neither can she and the longer they remain attached the more her mind will be taken over by them ‘til she becomes a soldier that they’ll use to invade the Earth. The only way to kill them? A special gun that will damage them but won't harm human flesh…

What makes this a game? Well… you don't harm the girl you're shooting the aliens off of, but you can shred her clothing. And if you manage to shred too much off you get a death scene where she bashes you to death with a nearby object (like a stone table, a lamp post, a Peterbuilt 379, etc…) out of extreme anger.

okay… back to playing Harvest Moon Animal Parade. Gotta figure out how to change the Frog Princess back into the Witch Princess. And find an elephant… and a hippo…
