Hello everyone, and welcome to Panel by Panel, a periodic exploration of comic panels around The Duck.

At least, that is what I would normally say before I lead into a post about a page of a panel from a comic on The Duck, but I wanted to try something this week. I usually build my list of comics, pages, and panels independently, but I want to see if anyone is willing to share their work so I can write about it.

So far, we've had 11 of these Panel By Panel articles, and I have plenty of material to write about here on The Duck, but I am also pretty sure a few of us have an innate curiosity about what I might write about your work.

But first, here is a brief index of the previous articles. This should prove to be a nice example of my different approaches to different comics. Plus, they are fun reads, and I hope they are also informative. Let me know what you think!

1. Goldstar and the Power of the Establishing Shot
2. Panel by Panel: ‘Ghastley Heights’ and Framing
3. Panel by Panel: ‘Succubus’ and the Panel Breakout
4. Panel by Panel: Charby the Vampirate and the Three-Beat Sequence
5. Panel by Panel: Android Blues and the Full Frame Two-Shot
6. Panel by Panel: The Waves Inside and Negative Space
7. Panel By Panel: Phantasos and Perspective
8. Panel By Panel: Redneck and Panel Orientation
9. Panel By Panel: Patchwork and Lace (Two Beats and No Gutters)
10. Panel By Panel: The Squirrel Machine and Texture
11. Panel By Panel: Them There Hills and Value Contrast

If you would like to submit one of your comic pages for consideration, please leave a link to your specific page in this post's comments. Also, please do not double-dip on this round. if I have written about your comic already, please don't throw in your link this week.

So, any takers? Worst case scenario, I'll just work through my existing list, but if we get some links this week, I can start slotting those comics in.

Oh well, I kind of changed my mind... Perhaps this one as an example of a single-panel gag without words: https://www.theduckwebcomics.com/Master_the_Tiger/5428359/ It's almost a decade ago, but I remember taking some time to figure out how and where to guide the reader's eyes so the situation can unfold.

Okay, so I'll share the link to the first of four pages showing Richard's nightmare https://www.theduckwebcomics.com/Fluffy_500/5610038/ and the page of Richard finding a horrible nightmarish caricature of his predecessor and mentor https://www.theduckwebcomics.com/Fluffy_500/5678898/

I had a lot of fun with Dragon Attack. The whole thing is my homage to D&D dungeon raids. https://www.theduckwebcomics.com/Phineus_Magician_for_Hire/5630998/

I'm hesitating to put a link here, as I often don't really use clearly defined panels and anyway the most recent page that isn't just an "I'm still here" cartoon is more than five years old. If I ever manage to pull myself back out of this hiatus, I'll be glad to - after all I've learned one or two things since then and would love to try them out.

I would take up this offer, however, while there are a couple of pages that I could think of that I would try to choose between, both are still a few weeks away from publication, so I would not be able to link one of them at the moment, so I guess we'd just have to wait.

How about this one? I was pretty proud of it in terms of composition. https://www.theduckwebcomics.com/Spirit_Monk/5715714/
